涌流灌溉改变了传统的连续灌所存在的田间深层渗漏大，灌水不均和长畦（沟）灌水难的问题。

Surge irrigation helps to solve some difficult problems as large deep infiltration , ununiformity and difficult to irrigate for long border ( or furrow ) .

采用畦麦沟鱼、稻鱼共生结构调节群落的种群密度和生态位宽度，延长养鱼时间；

科学控制入畦（沟）流量、水头、灌水定额、改水成数等灌水要素。

Scientifically control the irrigation factors affecting water volume into the strips ( furrows ), water intake and irrigation quotas , and the proportion of water volume changes .

畦面灌溉；条灌：把地块分成畦沟，使灌溉用水从水头或灌渠较高一端流到另一端的灌溉方法。

Border check irrigation ; strip irrigation : Flood irrigation in which land is divided into Border strips and water is delivered into each strip from a head or field ditch at its upper end .
