METHODS : Immunohistochemical technique and focal brain ischemia / reperfusion model were used in the study in order to explore profiles and time-course of VCAM-1 expression and monocyte macrophage ( ED2 positive cell ) infiltration in ischemic rat brain .

Results Together with Ia antigen-expressing cells ( OX6 + cells ) and blood-originated macrophages , the tissue cells in pulp ( ED2 + cells ) took part in the defensive responses against the irritation of exogenous antigens when stimulated by lipopolysaccharide at early stage .

结果牙髓中组织细胞（ED2+细胞）在早期感受内毒素脂多糖（LPS）入侵的同时，与Ia抗原表达细胞（OX6+细胞）和来自于血中的巨噬细胞一起参与了抵抗外来抗原刺激的防御反应。
