耶弗他又打发使者去见亚扪人的王

And Jephthah sent messengers again unto the king of the children of Ammon

于是耶弗他招聚基列人，与以法莲人争战。

Jephthah then called together the men of Gilead and fought against Ephraim .

耶弗他看见她，就撕裂衣服，说，哀哉。我的女儿阿，你使我甚是愁苦，叫我作难了。

And it came to pass , when he saw her , that he rent his clothes , and said , alas , my daughter !

耶弗他在米斯巴将自己的一切话陈明在耶和华面前。

And he repeated all his words before the LORD in Mizpah .

耶弗他以后，有伯利恒人以比赞作以色列的士师。

And after him Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel .

基列人耶弗他死了，葬在基列的一座城里。

Then Jephthah the Gileadite died and was buried in one of the cities of Gilead .

于是耶弗他往亚扪人那里去，与他们争战。

Then Jephthah went over to fight the ammonites , and the Lord gave them into his hands .

于是耶弗他同基列的长老回去，百姓就立耶弗他作领袖，作元帅。

So Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead , and the people made him head and commander over them .

基列的长老回答耶弗他说：“有耶和华在你我中间作见证，我们必定照你的话行。”

The elders of Gilead replied , " the Lord is our witness ; we will certainly do as you say . "

28亚扪人的王不肯听耶弗他打发人对他所说的话。

But the king of the children of Ammon would not listen to the words of Jephthah , which he sent him .

5亚扪人与以色列争战的时候，基列的长老到陀伯地去，要叫耶弗他回来。

And when the children of Ammon fought with Israel , the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob .

耶弗他就向耶和华许愿，说，你若将亚扪人交在我手中

And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the LORD , and said , If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands

耶和华就差遣耶路巴力，比但，耶弗他，撒母耳救你们脱离四围仇敌的手，你们才安然居住。

Then the LORD sent Jerub-Baal , Barak , Jephthah and Samuel , and he delivered you from the hands of your enemies on every side , so that you lived securely .

来十一32此外，我还要再说什么？若要一一细说基甸、巴拉、参孙、耶弗他、大卫、撒母耳和众申言者的事，时间就不够我用了。

Heb . 11:32 And what more shall I say ? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon , Barak , Samson , Jephthah , of David and Samuel and the prophets .

耶弗他对他们说、我和我的民与亚扪人大大争战.我招你们来、你们竟没有来救我脱离他们的手。

And Jephthah said unto them , I and my people were at great strife with the children of Ammon ; and when I called you , ye delivered me not out of their hands .

耶弗他打发使者去见亚扪人的王，说，你与我有什么相干，竟来到我国中攻打我呢。

And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon , saying , What hast thou to do with me , that thou art come against me to fight in my land ?

耶弗他就逃避他的弟兄，去住在陀伯地，有些匪徒到他那里聚集，与他一同出入。

So Jephthah went in flight from his brothers and was living in the land of tob , where a number of good-for-nothing men , joining jephthah , went out with him on his undertakings .

耶和华的灵降在耶弗他身上，他就经过基列和玛拿西，来到基列的米斯巴，又从米斯巴来到亚扪人那里。

Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah , and he passed over Gilead , and Manasseh , and passed over Mizpeh of Gilead , and from Mizpeh of Gilead he passed over unto the children of Ammon .

耶弗他回米斯巴到了自己的家。不料、他女儿拿著鼓跳舞出来迎接他、是他独生的。此外无儿无女。

Then Jephthah came back to his house in mizpah , and his daughter came out , meeting him on his way with music and with dances ; she was his only child ; he had no other sons or daughters .
