    METHODS : Totally 40 patients diagnosed in the Department of Orthopaedics Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical College between June 2004 and May 2005 were chosen into the study , and would be operated with total hip replacement .

    MATERIALS : Study was performed in the Laboratory of Physiology and the Institute of Pharmaceuticals of Xinxiang Medical College from January to December in 2002 . A total of 100 healthy Kunming mice were selected for platform and electric maze experiments with 50 mice in each experiment .
