A novel heat-resisting modified epoxy resin was synthesized through the condensation of a hydroxy terminated poly ( methylphenylsiloxane ), PMPS , and a bisphenol A epoxy resin , EP . The mechanism of the dehydration condensation reaction of PMPS and EP had been explored .
