目的：总结应用Ilizarov技术治疗下肢短缩、大段骨缺损合并其他病变的复杂畸形的体会。

Objective : To summarize Ilizarov technique for lower limbs shortened or bone large section defect with other complicated deformity .

Ilizarov external fixator fixed the leg lengthening . Treating Lower Limb Discrepancy of Children with Semicircular External Fixator and Gradual Bone Distraction Technique

方法：应用Ilizarov技术治疗下肢短缩12例（14个肢体），先天性胫骨假关节2例，骨髓炎骨缺损1例，矫治先天性马蹄内翻足9例。

Methods : the Ilizarov technique was used in 12 patients ( 14 legs ) with short leg , 2 with congenital tibia pseudoarthrosis , 1 with bone defect following osteomyelitis and 9 with congenital clubfoot .

结果全部病例均在4～6周内骨性愈合，下肢短缩及过度生长小于1.0cm，无髋膝关节活动障碍，无跛行，无旋转及成角畸形。

Result All the cases enjoyed bony union within 4 ~ 6 weeks . Shortening and excessive growing of the lower limbs were both less than 1.0 cm without action dysfunction in hip or knee joints , without lame or rotation or any deformity .

结论：半环式外固定架骨延长治疗儿童下肢短缩畸形疗效满意，合并骨缺损、骨不连的肢体短缩是应用半环式外固定架骨延长的理想适应证。

Conclusion : Semicircular external fixator and its related bone distraction technique can be used to treat lower limb discrepancy of children with satisfactory result . Lower limb discrepancy with bone defect or nonunion is the optimal indication for the treatment of bone lengthening by using semicircular external fixator .
