Primary open reduction plus internal fixation ( 58 . 5 % ) and inadequate or insufficient fixation ( 30 . 4 % ) were the major causes of nonunion , which accounted for about 90 % of all nonunions .

方法对23例股骨骨折骨不连患者采用带锁髓内钉内固定治疗，术后早期应用CPM机锻炼。

Methods 23 cases of femoral fracture nonunion were treated with interlocking intramedullary nailing and early CPM exercises .

Conclusions PHMC is an efficacious method to treat every type of fractures and nonunions in the region from anatomical neck to the diaphysis part of the humerus and thus provides a new way to reduce prostheses displacement in such region .
